The Wilmer City Council consists of five members, all elected at-large by Wilmer residents. Elections are held the second Saturday of May each year, with no more than three places scheduled for any single year (unless there are resignations).

The City Council meets the first and third Thursday of every month at Wilmer Community Center, 101 Davidson Plaza. Meetings start with a 7:30 p.m., the public is welcomed and encouraged to attend all meetings and there is a citizen’s comment on every regular scheduled agenda.  For more information on the Wilmer City Council, contact the City Secretary's Office at (972) 441-6373.
